Kaylen Svitak Coleman

Kaylen Svitak Coleman (Kiowa-Cherokee) is the 18-year-old daughter of U.S Army Veteran Audrey Svitak and the granddaughter of Carmen and Rev. Michael H. Svitak; Rev. Svitak is currently serving as the North-East Region North District Superintendent for the Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference (OIMC). Kaylen grew up in the OIMC, attending New Hope Indian United Methodist Church in Dewey, Oklahoma. In June of 2022 Kaylen gave her life to Christ at the South West District Center in Anadarko, Oklahoma during the OIMC Annual Conference. She also serves as the Kiowa Chapter Missing Murdered Indigenous Persons Senior Ambassador.

Kaylen’s accomplishments include being a Spring 2024 Riverside Indian School graduate with a 3.5 grade point average. Her future educational endeavors include attending Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas where she will study to earn her Associate of Arts in Social Work. Kaylen will use her education to further her dream of becoming a lawyer and activist for native youth everywhere. She resides Bethany, Oklahoma with her family and her bearded dragon Zach.
