Trish Gunby has been a member of Manchester UMC in West St. Louis County for more than 25 years and she served as its first Leadership Board Chair and Social Justice Coordinator. In these roles, she advocated for LGBTQ+ inclusion, racial justice, a reduction in gun violence and voting rights. Trish ran for a vacant state House seat (District 99) in 2019, flipped that seat and won re-election in 2020. In 2022, she ran for Congress in MO-02 and lost. She recently became a Culture Coach with the Missouri Annual Conference and serves on the MOST Policy Initiative board.
